As the founder of Drama Salon Inc. and the Drama Foundation, she is dedicated to raising awareness and supporting survivors of domestic violence through her mission of Changing Lives.

She has been honored with prestigious recognitions from the U.S. Congress House of Representatives (New York), the New York State Assembly, and the New York State Senate for her commitment to helping women. Mildred has also been featured in top magazines and television appearances, gracing the cover of Rostros Magazine as Woman of the Month (2021).
